Who are
we?
The running of the
Industrial Ecology Club of Aube, since the 31th of May 2005, is
directed by a
convention
signed by "Conseil Général de l’Aube" (local government), the University
of technology of Troyes (UTT) and the three consular chambers of the area
(industry, agriculture and handicraft). All signers of this convention
and Aube Development (local economical agency) constitute the commission
of the Industrial Ecology Club of Aube (IECA). Since July 2007, the
commission grew with a seventh member : ité de pilotage compte un septième
membre : the "Communauté
de l'Agglomération Troyenne (C.A.T.)" (city council).
It is the commission of the
Club that defines the main strategy and thinking topics to follow thanks
to its knowledge of what is at stake and the expectations of the local
actors (industrials, farmers, traders, etc.). It defines the subjects
taken into account by the assessment groups whose objectives are to
identify the exchange opportunities of material or energy flows, as well
as the ways to put it into effect.
To achieve this objective,
the IECA gathers diverse actors whose skills and resources allow finding
general solutions to common problems. When a hypothetical synergy is
found, the assessment group evaluates its technical, economical and legal
feasibility and submits the project the commission of the IECA. If it is
approved, the synergy is set into place by appropriate economical
organizations of the department.
